Connect Volunteers and Organizations in a Variety of Ways:

  • Staff in your office or volunteers at home can search for the right volunteer opportunity by one or more criteria, or just browse through all of them.
  • Each week, MyVolunteerPage.com emails volunteer opportunities to volunteers whose profile matches that of the new volunteer opportunity. (Volunteers must opt-in for this type of notification.)
  • You can broadcast emails (personally addressed to each volunteer) about volunteer opportunities that match their personal preference profiles.
  • Schools, businesses and other groups can access reports on their group’s volunteer activity levels.
  • Reach out to more potential volunteers by automatically adding your volunteer opportunities to the USA Freedom Corps website. Click here for details. Links in the USA Freedom Corps site bring volunteers directly into your Community Hub.

Community Promotions

  • ‘If you build it, they will come’ simply does not apply. Community Hub helps make it possible to get the community involved in grass roots promotions of your volunteer opportunities database.
  • Click here to see an example of a poster that can be printed directly from MyVolunteerPage.com. It contains 8 randomly selected volunteer opportunities each time it is printed. This poster gets printed by schools, businesses and places of worship to post on bulletin boards.
  • Click here to see an example of a promotional piece to encourage schools, businesses and places of worship. It can be customized with your own graphics.
  • Customizable point-of-purchase promotional displays placed out the in community in high traffic areas will draw traffic to your Community Hub site. Click here for a picture and pricing information.

Save Time:

  • Organizations can sign-up online and maintain their own profiles and list of volunteer opportunities. You can choose to preview all or selected entries before they are displayed on MyVolunteerPage.com.

Will you be part of CaliforniaVolunteers.org?

Our Community Hub system is approved by The State of California and the California Service Corps as a database vendor for volunteer centers that want to be a Hub in CaliforniaVolunteers.org. Volunteer2 is the only vendor whose system includes a sponsor recognition strategy, allowing volunteer centers to raise money through the pursuit of commercial sponsorship. In addition, it is the only system that provides the ability to print posters of volunteer opportunities from the website. Ours is the only system that has a complete suite of volunteer management tools for your members, including: volunteer profile data records, online signup for specific shifts, scheduling, communications, reporting, and recognition - all of which are fully functional in English and Spanish.

Not only can we help you to effectively recruit more volunteers in your community. We can also help you to support your members in their quest to improve their volunteer programs.

¿Habla español?

For the convenience of Latino volunteers and volunteer center staff, Community Hub and MyVolunteerPage.com (SoyVoluntario.com) are published in Spanish as well as English. The website graphics and instructions will automatically display in the language specified as the preferred language, in the volunteer’s browser. The volunteer’s profile also includes a language setting preference.
