Scheduling Volunteers
Each department can schedule their own volunteers in a way that works best for them.

Activities can be created with a variety of scheduling styles

No schedule

Between two dates, but on the volunteer's own time

Event oriented shifts with dates and times

Regularly recurring with dates and times (daily, weekly & monthly)




Volunteers can be scheduled in a variety of ways

Directly from a volunteer's profile (when you are working with a single volunteer and want to place her/him in a selected activity)

Automatically when any volunteer signs up (when 'warm blooded' is the only criteria for volunteering)

Automatically when a pre-approved volunteer signs up (each branch / department can set its criteria for pre-approval for each of its activities)

From a list of volunteers who have signed up for the activity (and are qualified and don't have any overlapping assignments within the branch / department)


In all cases, the system can also be set to accept only a specified number of volunteers
signing up for each activity or each shift.






Color coding tells you which shifts are filled and which need your personal attention.

Click on an activity name to search for volunteers who are available and qualified for the job. Assign them to one shift or a whole series of them.
